What Black SUV Service Covers
A chauffeured SUV with a professional driver, booked either as a flat-rate airport transfer or by the hour. Airport runs to and from MSY are $165.50 all-in for a standard SUV (gratuity and the fuel surcharge included), or $204.50 for the Cadillac Escalade ESV. Hourly work starts at $95.00* with a three-hour minimum all-in of $370.50; add 20% gratuity and 10% fuel surcharge.
When an SUV Is the Right Call
Two to six passengers who want space, or two passengers with a lot of luggage. It is our most-booked vehicle for airport transfers because it handles a family with checked bags where a sedan cannot, without stepping up to a Sprinter you do not need. For corporate pickups it reads better than a sedan without looking like a night out.

Six Passengers, or Six With Bags
Worth deciding before you book. Six adults fit an SUV. Six adults with six checked bags do not. The third row folds down for cargo, so you are choosing between the back seats and the boot. Four with luggage is comfortable. If you are six with full suitcases, the 14-passenger Executive Sprinter is $278.00 all-in and solves it outright.

How much is an SUV from MSY to a New Orleans hotel?

Six adults, or four adults with full luggage. That distinction matters more than the seat count suggests: six adults with six checked bags do not fit, because the third row has to fold down to make the cargo space. If your group is six with full suitcases, the 14-passenger Executive Sprinter at $278.00 all-in solves it without a second vehicle.
Can an SUV take a family with car seats?
Yes. Tell dispatch the ages and how many seats you need when you book, and the vehicle arrives with them fitted (rear-facing infant, convertible or booster) at no extra charge. The SUV is the vehicle most families book for MSY for exactly this reason.
Is an SUV worth the extra cost over a sedan for two people?
Usually not. Two passengers with two large cases fit a sedan at $126.50 all-in, and the SUV is $39.00 more for a couple who do not need the room. Book the SUV when there is a third passenger, a golf bag, a stroller, or more than two large cases.
How much is an SUV per hour for an evening out or a corporate day?
The base hourly rate is $95.00*, which is $123.50 all-in per hour, with a three-hour minimum: $370.50 all-in for the minimum booking. The Escalade ESV is $125.00* an hour, or $162.50 all-in, with the same three-hour minimum at $487.50. Time is billed from pickup to final drop in 15-minute increments after the minimum.
Does the SUV rate change on event weekends or late at night?
No. Jazzy does not surge-price weekends, late arrivals, or event dates. The exception is published and narrow: Mardi Gras parade days and hours carry a $175 surcharge because vehicles have to be positioned around the route before it closes, and LSU home games in Baton Rouge are a round-trip charter with a 10-hour minimum.
