How much does it cost to charter a motor coach in New Orleans?
The 56-passenger motorcoach is $475.00* an hour, which is $617.50 all-in per hour, on a five-hour minimum: $3,087.50 all-in for the minimum booking. The smaller buses run four-hour minimums: the 15-to-23-passenger Executive Bus is $210.00* an hour ($273.00 all-in, $1,092.00 for the minimum) and the 24-to-32-passenger Executive Bus XL is $275.00* an hour ($357.50 all-in, $1,430.00 for the minimum).
How many passengers does a motor coach hold?
Up to 56 in the motorcoach. The Executive Bus carries 15 to 23 passengers and the Executive Bus XL carries 24 to 32, so a convention or wedding party can be sized to the group rather than split across vehicles. Airport transfers are flat and all-in: $517.00 for the Executive Bus, $666.50 for the XL and $1,325.00 for the motorcoach.
What is the minimum booking for a motor coach or bus charter?
Five hours for the motorcoach and four hours for the Executive Bus and Executive Bus XL. Sedans, SUVs and the Executive Sprinter are three hours; the stretch limousine, Limo Sprinter and party buses are four. After the minimum, time is billed on the clock from pickup to final drop in 15-minute increments.
Do you provide motor coaches for conventions at the Morial Convention Center?
Yes. Convention work is usually a continuous shuttle loop between a hotel block and the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center rather than a single transfer, with the vehicle and chauffeur dedicated to your program for the block you book. Tell dispatch the hotels and the session times and the loop is built around them.
Can a motor coach handle a wedding guest shuttle?
Yes, and it is one of the most common uses. A single bus moving guests from the hotel to the ceremony and then to the reception replaces a line of cars and keeps the party together. Multi-stop itineraries are normal on a charter: the chauffeur stays with the vehicle for the whole block, so there is no re-booking between stops.
How far ahead should a motor coach be booked?
Further than a car. There are fewer large vehicles than sedans and SUVs, and convention weeks, festival weekends and spring wedding Saturdays are booked first.
